Help with online ordering

Please use the guidelines below for help with using our shopping cart and inputting credit card details.

Please note that suspected fraudulent transaction attempts will not be processed. Our credit card processor will be notified of suspicious behaviour immediately so that they can begin investigative procedures.

1. Put your required parts into your shopping cart using the 'Buy' button.
2. Change the 'quantity' box to reflect the actual quantity you require - remember that all prices are per plug and the default when you click a 'buy' button is a single plug.
3. Once you have changed the quantity required, select the appropriate shipping destination from the 'shipping' dropdown box. Go to the bottom of the page and click the 'Recalculate' button, this will work out your shipping and goods totals. Click 'continue shopping' if you wish to add more parts to your order.
4. Once you have finished shopping, click the 'Go to Payments' button (as illustrated above).
5. Fill in your address details, ensuring that you enter your postcode and a valid email address that you check regularly. We do not maintain a list of email addresses nor do we pass them to anyone else, your email address is used purely to update you with information about your order. Fields which are in bold type must be completed, other fields are optional. Fill in the extra field for delivery address if you would like your order shipped to an address different to that of the cardholder.
6. Click 'continue' when you are happy that you have completed all required fields. You will be taken to an order and address details summary screen. If everything looks ok, click the 'continue' button and you will be taken to a secure server hosted by Protx who are our online payment gateway.
7. The payment screen is in two parts, the top part requires you to enter the long card number without spaces, the card type (visa, switch etc), the cardholder name (exactly as it appears on the card), valid from date is not required, expiry date is required. For switch and solo transactions, the card issue number must be entered. For all transactions, the security code must be entered - this is an important anti fraud measure and your order will not be processed without it. The security code is the last three or four digits printed on the signature strip on the reverse of your card, they will usually be set apart from the rest of the digits on the signature strip.
8. The bottom part of the payment screen should be automatically completed with the address details you entered in the shopping cart order details screen. Please ensure that the details here are correct, particularly house number and postcode, this is also an important anti fraud measure.
*Note* - If you do not have a postcode (for example EIRE customers) you must clear the 'Billing Address' field by deleting the text before proceeding.
When you are happy that all details are correct, click 'proceed'. Credit cards are not charged immediately, transactions are evaluated for legitimacy before being released or refused. It may be necessary for us to make further random checks via telephone or email to confirm details with you - this helps to protect you, the customer, and is a vital part of the fight against Internet credit card fraud.
