Zero Rated VAT Conditions
VAT is ALWAYS charged when goods are shipped to our customers in the UK.
EU exports from the UK
After July 1st 2021 UK VAT is not charged on shipments to the EU but, as the importer, customers in the EU are liable for local import duties and local tax costs. This may change when the UK government applies a usable IOSS system, which will enable us to collect the correct VAT as part of the cost of the goods, the UK government will then pay this to the government of the country of import. For now you should assume that you will be liable for standard import costs, similar to ordering goods from the USA, Australia or Japan.
Non EU exports from the UK
This classification is for countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Israel and Japan.
Goods sent from the UK to non EU countries are classed as UK exports (imports to your country). Sales tax (VAT) is not charged on our sales of goods but you will be liable for import taxes, duties and handling. These charges will be collected by the delivering postal service in your country. Low value shipments may escape further charges in some countries but it is safer to assume that your order will attract additional import charges.
